We are all intrinsically connected to each other. Every macro or micro movement on this planet - from our solar and lunar cycles, through to the space between the individual breaths we take, ripples out across time and space like glitter on the breeze, dancing together and impacting each other in ways we mostly don’t pay attention to, or even understand.
If you’ve felt deeply impacted by the burning world and the last 7 months of live-streamed genocide, you’re not alone. If you’ve felt helpless, hopeless, filled with rage and grief and not sure what to do with all of it, you’re not alone. If you’ve felt alone - you’re not alone. There are millions of people right now in the world who are also deeply impacted by the suffering.
When we feel alone and isolated, we can feel disconnected from our strength and resilience. We falter and feel unable to cope, to hold space and bear witness to the suffering of our human kin. We are stronger together. When we grieve together, our shared grief becomes the vessel for us to rest within, to find respite and nourishment and strength to face the suffering and hold space for those who need it. Our shared grief becomes the vessel for the alchemical process of turning our pain into power, of using our emotional energy for right action. We instinctively know what is in our personal capacity to do, accept our limitations and take action to support our human kin.
Join this Grief Gathering for Gaza, to share grief in solidarity with our human kin.
Express what’s on your heart, be heard and witnessed however you show up, and rest into the sacred vessel of shared grief.
May our time together be in service of a Free Palestine and free people everywhere.
